House parties in over 35 cities across Texas today for Barack Obama

Sen. Barack Obama has inspired a grassroots network of people who are ready to believe in hope again.  It's an exciting thing to be a part of!

There's been a Bush on the Texas ballot or in office for all but 2 of the last 28 years, and many Texans are ready for change.  We're tired of slash and burn politics.  We're tired of sound-bytes.  We don't think the world operates in black and white.

Over 20,000 Texans showed up at a rally on Auditorium shores because they believe there's still reason to hope.  And the momentum continues.  Today, Obama volunteers joined together in over 35 Texas cities for a live webcast.  In Austin, over 100 people gathered at Scholz's Garten today...two years out from Election Day 2008.  That's unprecedented grassroots support this early in a presidential cycle!
