Bush will go down as the worst president in United States history. It's going to take a lot of work to clean up this mess in Washington DC, but Sen. Obama has the charisma and intellect to effectively use the White House bully pulpit and lead our nation our nation in a positive direction.

Senator Barack Obama blasted President Bush's latest spending plan today, branding it as not only unbalanced, but also unworthy of the challenges Americans face as a nation. The Chicago Democrat says that at a time of rising health care and tuition costs, of middle-class anxiety and persistent poverty, the Bush proposal gives billions of dollars to the wealthy who don't need it.
At the same time, Obama says the plan forces the rest of America including 1.7 million Medicare recipients in Illinois to do more with less. Put simply, he says "This budget represents bad choices and deferred leadership, and its just plain wrong."
